Inspired by the smiles of Filipinos across the country, Colgate has been active on-ground in educating families about good oral care habits. Various programs were launched like ‘Bright Smiles, Bright Futures’ program, the Colgate Scholarship Promo, and the Philippine Anti-Cavity Campaign. Colgate and its partners have been able to provide yearly Oral Health programs to public school learners nationwide. The campaign, ’Bright Smiles, Bright Futures’ program, is the largest and longest-running campaign of its kind. “We provide oral health education, conduct tooth brushing drills, and distribute toothpaste and toothbrush samples. Since 1997, the Bright Smiles, Bright Futures program has reached 23.8 million children nationwide across 33,000 public schools and 10,000 day care centers, and we have done so working with over 2,000 professional dentists.,” said Emily Fong Mitchell, Marketing Director of Colgate-Palmolive Philippines, Inc.
