The inaugural episode of the series “Bake to Basics” was held on May 23 and streamed live on Facebook, attracting an enthusiastic audience of baking aficionados from across the country.
Hosted by Chef Jackie Ang-Po and featuring guest expert homebaker and business owner Kathy Apole-Sarmiento of KathyBakesPH, the event engaged viewers with a blend of practical baking demonstrations, insightful business advice, and Q&A sessions. Chef Jackie kicked off the event expressing her excitement about the return of the Homebakers Club and encouraging viewers to actively participate and ask questions.

Kathy particularly shared her journey from homebaker to business owner, providing tips on mastering recipes, managing costs, and effectively marketing products.
