Video of school children participating in a sexual dance sparks outrage

2 min read

In the information age, it is hard to conceal certain things from children. Because media appear in many different forms, they are presented and consumed in countless ways.

And before you know it, the little ones are imitating the things they see without even knowing what they are about and imply.

This is clearly shown in a viral video filmed in city of Camaguey in central Cuba. In the clip, young children are seen twerking and showing off other lascivious dance moves.

At one point the two pairs of boys and girls grind their groin against their partners and even bending down on the floor.

“The original Facebook video has taken down,” said a report by The Daily Mail, “but other versions are circulating on social media and have been watched tens of thousands of times—leading to fury from social media users.”

The video was captured by one of the boy’s father, Jorge Luis Pérez, and was said to be proud of his son.

The general reaction toward the video was outrage, with many horrified by the implication that young children have become very sexual.

A Facebook user named Ricardo Hernandez wrote: “Already we have gone back to brothels and prostitution in Cuba in this age—wow. Where are the parents and the school principal and what moral principles are they teaching in that school? The school is trash.”

Another user, Nancy Miranda, said: “And I can tell you that none of them could say their multiplication tables, but they can lap dance. Where are the teachers??? And the parents???”

The original video was reported to have been viewed tens of thousands of times.
