Mother dies after being brutally beaten by jealous husband

A mother from Bulacan has died after suffering intense physical abuse from her husband. The incident was allegedly brought about by her husband's jealousy.

Michele Roxas, a mother of three from Marilao Bulacan, has died after suffering physical abuse from her husband.

She Suffered Physical Abuse Because of Her Husband's Jealousy

The victim's mother shared that her son-in-law, Carl Michael Roxas, got drunk and became angry after reading a text message sent to his wife. The text message was allegedly from someone who wanted to meet up with the victim.

Gregoria shares, "Kinaladkad ang anak ko. Paghatak niya sinikmuraan tapos ibinalandra sa pinto sabay sakal."

She added that she tried to stop her son-in-law, but he also tried to punch her when she did.

Eventually, the suspect took his wife into their room, where Gregoria thought that they were going to talk.

However, the beating kept on going, until Gregoria saw that her daughter was bloody and unconscious.

The Suspect Escaped with Their Kids

Gregoria said that the suspect tried to wake up the victim by splashing her with water from a basin.

And instead of taking her to a hospital, he instead took their three minor children and drove away using the victim's car. He then dropped them off at his parent's house.

The suspect had been out of work for five years, and his wife is the breadwinner for the family.
