The second trimester of pregnancy can feel surreal. The struggles you feel during your first trimester may lessen at this stage. At this stage, the risk of miscarriage lowers down. And you are probably beginning to tell people that you are pregnant.

In addition, seeing pink or brown spots of blood in your vaginal discharge at any point of pregnancy is not always a sign that there is something wrong with your pregnancy. Pregnancy spotting is normal during early pregnancy and according to Healthline, it happens in as many as 25 percent of healthy pregnancies.
